Glide or mounting aids facilitate the installation of rubber parts.
The assembly or installation of vulcanized rubber items such as profiles, hoses, or seals can be significantly eased through the use of mounting aids (also referred to as glide aids, assembly aids, lubricants or simply lubes) . Typically applied just before assembly, treatment is carried out by either dipping or spraying the article. The resulting thin, uniform film remains in place and imparts the desired sliding properties to the polymer surface. The surface exhibits a uniform shine after treatment. Such products are typically required for the automated production of household appliances, such as washing machines.
BARBE's products can be utilized in highly diluted forms, resulting in a particularly cost-effective application. The physical and mechanical properties of the coated polymer items remain unaffected.
The products can also be applied directly by the manufacturer of rubber items immediately after vulcanization. This enhances efficiency by eliminating an additional application step during assembly.
Special product for the post-treatment of rubber articles and profiles to facilitate their assembly during further processing. Dip Solution 213 forms a thin and uniform film on the polymer surface, which is characterised by its high lubricity. Dip Solution 213 can be used with all polymers typical for this application.
